A little about privacy
You can play Owly, Castle Sky Guard and Tidebreak without an account. Player names, progress, coins, outfits, planes, upgrades and personal bests are saved in your browser on this device. Clearing browser data removes those saves; they do not automatically follow you to another device.
In Owly, if you choose to post a high score, your nickname and time appear on the public scoreboard. Use a made-up nickname, not your full name. The server stores the level, time, assistance setting, submission identifiers and a hashed player identifier to maintain the board.
Each game can also share your chosen nickname, a random player identifier, levels attempted and completed, retry counts, and approximate active playtime with the game owner through a private dashboard. Paused, background and idle time are excluded. You can switch this off in Owly’s Change player, Castle Sky Guard’s settings or Tidebreak’s pre-mission settings; playing still works. Detailed sessions are removed 90 days after their last activity, with anonymous daily totals retained longer. Use a made-up nickname. Clearing browser data creates a new identifier.
Vercel hosts the site and Supabase stores shared scores, optional mission results and private activity. Hosting services may process ordinary request logs, such as IP addresses, to operate and protect the service. The game does not ask for an email address or connect players to the private HeyThena OS.
Castle Sky Guard has no public scoreboard. Tidebreak’s Save result online button optionally records mission time, losses, shots, practice mode and a hashed random identifier. No real identity or cross-game profile is linked.
